Cursed Treasure - Levels 1 to 5
Level 1 - Basics Difficulty- Tutorial Waves - 5M
This level is shaped like a letter "S" on its side. The road begins in the top left-hand corner of your screen and dips down, up, and then down again, ending in the lower right-hand corner of the screen, where your gems are hidden. The bulk of the level is not smooth terrain (meaning the axe would be needed to clear space before building towers). The free terrain areas are located on the two peninsulas in the centre of the screen. For this level, the left-most peninsula will be called number 1. The peninsula to the right will be number 2.
Wave 1 - Builds
- Den 1 - lowest and left-most grass free space of peninsula #1.
- Temple 1 - highest free rocks space located on peninsula #2.
- Crypt 1 - directly next to the Temple, on the highest free snow space of Peninsula #2.
Wave 2 - Builds
- Temple 2 - lowest available rocks space on peninsula #2. This space can also be described as the closest space to the gems.
Wave 3 - Builds/Upgrades
- Den 2 - directly to the right of the first den on peninsula #1. (build)

Wave 5 - Special Actions
- Use your Meteor button when your enemies approach Crypt 1 and Temple 1.
Level 2 - Spells Difficulty - Tutorial Waves - 10
This level of the cursed treasure walkthrough introduces "Higher Ground." You may place any item on these spaces, as they are technically "wild ground," which increases the range of that weapon. You also have "Manna Pools. " Build corresponding-coloured towers on these spaces (indicated by two blue pulsating bubbles) and you will earn manna while the timer recedes. The road begins in the upper left-hand side of the screen and follows a single spiral to where your gems are situated. The bulk of the free terrain is in the centre of the screen, which we will call the island for this level.
Wave 1 - Builds
- Den 1 - on the high ground on the upper half of the island.
- Temple 1 - lower half of the island's high ground.
- Temple 2 - on the Manna Pool that is in the rocks terrain.
- Temple 3 - in the space directly below Temple 2.
Wave 4 - Builds
- Temple 4 - on the upper right-hand free space of rock terrain on the island.
Wave 5 - Builds
- Temple 5 - directly in the space below the previously added Temple.
Wave 7 - Builds/Upgrades
- Temple 6 - to the left of the top-most Temple, making a trio of Temples in the upper right-hand corner of the island. (build)
- Place a Temple to the left of the Manna Pool Temple, making a trio of those Temples as well. (build)

Wave 8 - Upgrades
- Upgrade your Den at the 150 level. Choose the upgrade: Orcish Den.
Wave 10 - How to defeat him
- When the enemy enters the screen, play the Frenzy Button to defeat him.
Level 3 - First Challenge Difficulty - Easy Waves - 15
This is technically the first real level in the cursed treasure game, because it does not walk you through any new parts of the game itself. The road begins toward the left of the bottom of your screen and continues straight, curves to the right, and then descends back down to your gems, making a cane-shaped road. For this level, the centre strip of land will be referred to as the inner land, and the land on the other side of the road will be the outer land.
Wave 1 - Builds
- Den 1 - on the high ground located at the centre of in the inner land.
- Den 2 - one square lower and two squares to the left of Den 1. This is the farthest grass space to the lower left. It is also a Manna Pool.
- Den 3 - one square above and two to the left of Den 1. This is the upper-left most grassy land space.
- Den 4 - between the two newest Dens, making the left-most edge of the inner land flanked by Dens.
Wave 3 - Builds
- Temple 1 - there are three rocks spaces at the top of the inner land. Place a Temple on the right-hand side one.
- Temple 2 - to the lower right-hand diagonal to Temple 1.

Wave 15 - Special Actions
There is simply one last action to perform in wave 15 of level 3 of the cursed treasure walkthrough.
- Frenzy Button- when your enemy gets half-way around the road, use to defeat.
Level 4 - The Cross Difficulty - Easy Waves - 20
In this level, the roads enter from both sides of the upper portion of your screen and converge at a "+" in the upper middle of the screen. The road then descends on a right-hand "C" curve and ends at your gems in the centre left-hand side of the screen. The main free land is on the large peninsula in the centre of the screen, the "+," and a few snow terrain spaces on the outskirts to the right.
Wave 1 - Builds
- Den 1 and Den 2 - at each of the two high ground spaces. These are located in the centre of the "+" and near the tip of the peninsula. The peninsula's Den shall be Den 1. The "+" Den shall be Den 2.
- Den 3 - on the corner space of the grass terrain located on the peninsula.
- Den 4 - to the left of the previous Den 3.

Level 5 - The Thicket Difficulty - Easy Waves - 20
This level is shaped much like a question mark without the dot. The road begins at the bottom (centre) of the screen and rises; curves left, and descends to the left (centre) of the screen where your gems are situated. The centre of the road contains a square of four land spaces. Each of these spaces is both a Manna Pool and a High Ground space.
Wave 1 - Builds
Place a den at each space of the centre square.
- Den 1 - the top left space.
- Den 2 - the top right space.
- Den 3 - the bottom left space.
- Den 4 - bottom right space.
Wave 3 - Special Actions/Builds
- Axe - clears a grassy space. The space will be the second from the bottom to the right of the road. (special action)

This level is shaped like a large loop. The road enters at the top-centre of the screen and forks off in both directions, down, and around a centre island of land that also houses your gems. The entrance to the gems is at the bottom of this island.

This level follows the road in the shape of a "W." The road enters on the top left-hand corner of the screen; snakes downward, up slightly in the centre, down again to the bottom right-hand corner, and then up to the gems, located in the top right-hand corner of the game screen. The road narrows to a single lane just before opening up to a wide space containing the gems. The left of the screen in grassy terrain and the lower portion of the screen is snowy terrain, which curves up the right-hand side of the screen. The centre of the screen is mainly rocky terrain, with a few grassy spaces on the right-hand side of the rocky areas.

This level is divided into two roads. Road 1 begins in the top of the screen and Road 2 begins on the bottom of the screen. Both roads meet in the centre of the screen, and a single high ground space sits on the crossroads. Both roads then fork off to end at two areas containing your gems. One in the lower right of the screen and one in the upper left of the screen. There are four spaces jutting out into the crossroads area. The top space is grassy and will be Corner 1, the right-hand corner is a rocky space, Corner 2, the bottom corner is also rocky and is Corner 3, and the final corner, Corner 4 is a grassy space.

This level has two roads of entry for the enemy that converge into one road as it approaches the place where your gems are hidden. Both roads enter from the lower part of the left side of your screen and proceed straight across the screen about 2/3 of the way before curving upwards, returning back to the left and ending upwards toward your gems. For the sake of the walk through, the three main strips of land will be numbered. The land directly above the upper entry road will be called "Strip 1." The land in between the two entry roads will be "Strip 2," and the land at the bottom of your screen will be called "Strip 3."

This level consists of six main roads. All roads converge in the centre of the screen and pass by a lone-high ground space before forking back off. The terrains are arranged as such: snowy land in the top right and left portions of the screen, rocky terrain in the bottom left, and grassy terrain in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen as well as a strip coming down from the top (centre) of the screen. Your gems are kept at the end of the fourth road (clockwise from the top) and may be accessed via two openings in the pit.

The layout of this level is quite tough. Two roads enter the screen, one at the top left (Road 1) and one at lower right (Road 2). Road 1 travels straight to the right, straight down, curves to the right again, and curves upward to the pit of gems. Road 2 enters straight and heads left, upwards, left again, and curves downward toward the pit or gems. In between these pits (which have both an entrance and an exit), is a narrow road (Road 3) that snakes its way between both pits. There are four Manna Pools located at the main curve in each road on the inside edge (closest to centre). Four high grounds are in the middle of the roads located roughly at the entrances and ends of the two roads.

In this final level, as expected, the game board is insanely difficult. There is more road than terrain, which makes fewer items available for placement, but a keen player will relish in the larger range for each item due to the increase in road. There are two vertical strips, an "H" shaped land, and two more vertical strips across the top. For the sake of the walk through, the "H" will also count as two strips. The strips across the top will be numbered 1-6 going left to right and be called "Lands." There is a similar configuration across the lower half of the screen (two lines, one "H", two lines). These "Lands" will be numbered 7-12 left to right. In the centre of the screen, small islands dot across the screen. From left to right, these "Isles" are 1-6. (Isle 2 and Isle 4 are double sized isles.) Your gems are in the centre of the screen at the bottom. GOOD LUCK!
